Here's a question. Is it best to drive SWAN using either:
1. Waves from a WWIII model and winds from the same NWP model used to force the WWIII model
2. Waves from a WWIII model and winds from a _different_ NWP model which are known to have a lower bias and RMSE than the model used to force the WWIII?
The NWP model with the lower bias and RMSE can't be used to drive the WWIII - the domain of the NWP model is too small.
The SWAN is used for coastal flood forecasting.
