I can't see why the squelch in simplex mode would not work since you use the
same receiver config section for both logics. There should be no difference.
The only thing you should have to do is to set LOGICS=SimplexLogic.
If you press a * on the computers keyboard, will it start the transmitter to
identify ? Does the squelch work after that ?
If you're willing to tinker a bit, you can get the repeater logic to work the
way you want. Compile SvxLink from source by following the instructions here:
If you installed libsigc++ and gsm from RPMS, you don't need to compile these
from source. Just make sure to install the development RPMS.
When you have everything running, find a file in the source tree:
Load this file into your favorite text editor and find a function called:
In this function, comment out the lines below using /* and */
if (repeater_is_up && repeating_enabled)
return transmitAudio(samples, count);
Recompile and test it.
