Could you see if sound and sfx are enabled in your config? It was actually
switched off in my case (but since I am usually playing without sound that's
not too surprising). With windows I have sound effects, but had no music atm.

in default robot, and one where the game just freezes. I think both
problems are related to the AI which doesn't handle rescuing correctly.
I already mailed Coz about these problems, and hope that I can supply

That's most likely a problem with the (rather old) plib, which doesn't really
give the best performance. We plan to switch to a different grpahics library,
but this will take some time and will happen after getting the new physics
up and running. But we will have a look at the performance before we do the

I think that's a problem with the models: the zippers are probably hovering
a bit over the track, and the physics detect this. I am going to fix this when
I am working on zipper/wheelies (which will be just after I fix automatic

Yes, that's a thing we have to fix. Unfortunately no one of us does has much
experience with windows (only Maik, and he is currently too busy apparently).
Do you know which dll is actually responsile for this? I might try to link
in more stuff statically. But it would be realy good to have someone with
windows experience to have a look at that.

That's a sourceforge problem, and is apparently fixed by now. Now the date
displayed is "December 13, 2007"
