This bug has been around for a long time but I've only looked at it properly today. When you're in options ad you change the display to fullscreen, you get the 'confirm resolution' message. But when you switch to window mode the screen is blank (the background's still there) and you have to press escape to carry on. If you click the mouse it goes back to fullscreen. In terminal there's lots of errors about drawing widgets. I've looked in config_display.cpp and fixed the problem by adding a confirmation for switching to window mode. But do people really need a confirmation when going back to window mode? While I was looking in the file it seemed that quite a few bits of code didn't really do anything - I commented them out and there seemed to be no difference when I ran the program. E.g. after changing to window mode there is a line - widget_manager-> setWgtText(WTOK_FULLSCREEN, _("Fullscreen mode")); I changed the words fullscreen mode and nothing happened. Another is the changeApplyButton() just below this. Is there something I'm not spotting or does this file just need cleaning up? |
