Version 0.2 of the xine plugin is available. This version is functionally identical to 0.1, except that it is build outside of the xine-lib tree.
It uses GNU autoconf and a spec file is provided, so that you can build an RPM yourself.
A precompiled RPM is provided. It has been build on Fedora Core Beta Severn2, so it may have library requirements too modern. If this is the case, just dowload the source tarball and rebuild the RPM as explained in the README file.
Project subhandler was started last January and, though the project at SourceForge was registered back then, no code was submitted to it.
Now, the old code has been made available as a source tarball and the old CVS repository has been imported.
What is in the release? It is a crude implementation of a xine plugin that displays both SVCD and CVD subtitles. We are not aware of any program, opensource or otherwise, able to do it.... read more
Work on the project, that has been stopped since it was registered, has restarted.
Hopefully, some results will be visible in one or two weeks on CVS.
