    Greetings.

I installed the stxxl library with the flag -DBUILD_EXAMPLES activated.

According I understand, enabling this flag makes several sample programs of the library are downloaded and built. The installation of the library was fine, and the sample programs were built (at least I think), but now I don't know how to run each sample program and where those programs are located (both sources and executables).

Thanks in advance for any help and/or suggestions regarding this problem.

The examples reside in the examples folder. However, they are are not installed when running make install. This is because they are educational and of no value without the accompanying source code. You can build them by downloading the source and building it in as usual.

    Understood.

Reviewing the files that are part of the installation (using yaourt -Ql) I realized that none of the examples was downloaded or installed.

    Thank you.

And in the case of the flags -DBUILD_TESTS and -DBUILD_EXTRAS...
How do I run these tests?
    Are installed?
