I'm trying to set the StreamRipStar 0.6 to use GStreamer for playing streams on my Windows 7 64 bit:
Menu > Preferences > Audio and Programs, i don't check "use internal audio player" but set the Path to MP3-Player:
C:\Program Files (x86)\OSSBuild\GStreamer\v0.10.7\bin\gst-launch.exe playbin2 uri=
Now if i klick to "Play stream" the stream would be playing but i cannot stop it. If i play another stream, then i hear the sound from both streams. How can i stop the player? Is this not provided?
The support for external players are only for graphical players. The are currently no support to handle this streams. The internal player "controls" gstreamer, which means that you can see titles, start+stop playback and control the volume. But external can every stream and I can't know the correct commands for all players.
May I can help you if I make every button controllable, so that you can send a specific command for every Button (Start, Stop, Sound louder …)
