I tried to install Streamripper for Winamp - installation file name srwa5-1.61.21.exe - on Windows 7 64-bit, but it gave an error in fine red font. When I started Winamp 5.63, Streamripper launched but did not rip. It hangs. It also was messing with Winamp by not refreshing the Shoutcast station list and freezing the visualization. I went to the Control panel to uninstall it, but don't see it there. How do I uninstall Streamripper?
After uninstalling, where do I find the latest Streamripper for Winamp installation file? Thanks.
From the official Streamripper project page in (current) files there doesn't appear to be a Winamp plugin available. And their official docs http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/tutorialplugin.php refer to WA v2 and v3 not v5 as you appear to be using.
But the (older winamp) files show "wa5" in the names. You are also not using the most recent version:
Can you run the installer srwa5-1.61.21.exe again and choose an uninstall option if it exists?
