Thanks to the people from the Free Software Foundation France we now have a Virtual Machine hosted in Rennes (France). It's at http://data.stellarium.org/ There is nothing there yet, but it's an important milestone :) Fab |

Hi Fabien I don't exactly know what you mean by a virtual machine. Is this meant to be a Thin app that will work on any platform or just another download point. I put some scripts generating surveys on the server, but I still have to work on them. In the mean time, we can also put other data online, and optimize the web server, using e.g. lighthttpd. Hi Is it intended to do something about the changes to landscape loading that has removed the ability to load old style landscapes correctly that do not have 8 or 16 panels? I have converted all my oddments to 8 panel and re-orientated the 4 panel type to conform to the new loading but I have made landscapes for a number of other users that may have odd numbers of sides. Could you please create a bug report? The last e-mail thread got long and moved on a tangent. I don't know if Fabien pays more attention to the mailing list or to the bug tracker. Hi Bogdan I will make a bug report then. I am always wary of creating bug reports unless I know that it is a bug rather than a change of design. I was hoping for some response to point the way.
