I would like to ask how atmosphere is rendered? Are you using some grid shaped to hemisphere and you are using vertex colours to create color gradient between different points on the sky or are using pixel shader or somethin completely different?

We use a rectangular grid on your viewport (one point every x,y pixels) and compute for each frame the color and brightness and then display it with interpolated glSquares .

We use a rectangular grid on your viewport (one point every x,y pixels) and compute for each frame the color and brightness and then display it with interpolated glSquares .
