os2.patch

Hi All, I just ported Stella 2.01 to the OS/2 operating system using GCC 3.3.5 and SDL. Changes were only required to configure (based on the changes I made to the scummvm configure to work with OS/2) and also to ./src/emucore/framebuffer.cxx to detect the OS/2 desktop size. Patch is attached - hopefully this can be included in cvs? Cheers, Paul. |

Thanks for that. This is the type of patches we were hoping for; only small changes required to port to another platform. > Patch is attached - hopefully this can be included in cvs? I will apply it once I make sure it still configures in MinGW (already tested and working fine in Linux). But it looks like you didn't attach the FrameBuffer.cxx changes. Finally, would you be willing to compile an OS/X package that we can put on Sourceforge? I don't have access to OS/X (and have never used it), so I wouldn't know where to start. Thanks, Steve |

Sorry - I screwed up the diff - revised one attached: > > Finally, would you be willing to compile an OS/X package that we can put > on Sourceforge? Hey that's OS/2 not OS/X :) There's a binary at http://smedley.info/os2ports.html that you're more than welcome to either link to or host on sourceforge :) Cheers, Paul. |

I guess I typed OSX since I'm thinking about getting an OSX laptop in the next few months :) > There's a binary at http://smedley.info/os2ports.html that you're more > than welcome to either link to or host on sourceforge :) OK, I'll take a look. Thanks again, Steve |
