This makes shared memory part work. I am yet to see if something is
broken for message queues and semaphore. I am not sure whether this is
glibc dependend( source.redhat.com says some __old and __new calls ).
Can someone check this on an redhat SSI cluster ? If OK i will commit
this to debian branch. Brian can later sync the changes from debian branch.
