The redhat-config-network command is nice graphical tool for configuring network interface cards (NICs). Thanks to Vinod Vijayarajan, this command can now be used safely on OpenSSI. By running 'onnode <node#> redhat-config-network', you can configure the NICs for any node in the cluster. The command includes safeguards to prevent users from editing the NIC used for the cluster interconnect. To install this enhanced version of redhat-config-network on your OpenSSI 1.0.0-rc3 cluster 1) download http://www.openssi.org/contrib/redhat-config-network-ssi.tar 2) extract it with 'tar xf' 3) cd into redhat-config-network-ssi/ and run ./install Enjoy, Brian |
