There is a special line in /etc/inittab which is supposed to be executed when it /sbin/init is run with the -r option. The kernel starts a new init with the -r option only when doing a root failover. It should NOT be getting run during a standard cold boot or node join. siR:R:sysinit:/etc/rc.d/rc.sysrecover < /dev/console > /dev/console 2>&1 The second R is a special SSI designation, which normally excludes this script from running except during "Recovery". I haven't notice any problem in Rehdat as far as getting run at the wrong time. David Aneesh Kumar K.V wrote: > Hi, > > When will rc.sysrecover run ?
