I've been having a lot of trouble when sending emails from squirrelmail
using the sendmail delivery option. The problem is that sendmail does not
expect the messageinput to contain \r\n - CRLF as the line separator.
Sendmail translates the LF to CRLF and keeps the extra CR so the
mailheaders looks like this:
this confuses some email clients and they treat all the headers as part of
the body.(I tested with outlook express and mozilla).
I use qmail and qmail's sendmail wrapper but I believe that sendmail would
have the same problem.
A workaround would be to switch to SMTP delivery.
