Does anyone have a working vacation plugin that works with virtual users?
The two vacation plugins on the squirrelmail website only work with 'real'

The vacation plugin would be much more handy if it would backup your
previous .forward file to .forward.sqmail_bak or something. Otherwise, it
will overwrite anything you had in your .forward file previously.

Can the vacation plugin be set to only auto-reply to valid email
addresses? We receive a lot of messages from Mail Delivery System saying
that the vacation message was undeliverable, b/c it replied to an invalid
Is there any way to do this?

The problem is for the plugin to know beforehand which addresses are
legit. I think you're better of trying to configure you MTA not to accept
incoming mails from spam servers. If you don't forward spam to the
auto-responder, you won't get the backscatter you have today.
