I don't know if the release versions have it but my snapshot of PHP4.0.5Dev
has a bunch of PEAR log stuff we could either use or learn from. Also, if
we at least require 4.0.2 the logging has MUCH greater capability. As far
as I can tell though assigning error numbers to error strings won't do much
more good than to be able to point to where in a function something
happened as the standard error level integers are always used unless you
redefine them. Even then you can't (or shouldn't) redefine them but once.
Besides, You can already spit out files, line numbers, and all variables in
the scope. What else would you want?
