Would anyone mind if I put the $MOTD on the login page?
I know this was discussed a while back and was left out as a result of
eliminating the welcome screen (good deal).

I am not sure if this counts as violating the feature freeze or not, but I
just added the MOTD feature back in. We had talked about doing this
earlier, and I totally forgot to do it. Since 0.4 had it, I decided to go
ahead and put it back in 0.5. However, it is different.
When the user first logs in, if you have a motd set, it shows it right above
the message index. If you don't have it set, it just looks like normal
without anything. I have it with nothing because I find the MOTD annoying,
but I know others wanted it back in, so there it is.
Hope you're not mad at me for sort-of violating the feature freeze.. :)
