If anybody is > interested I'm attaching complete Czech translation of squirrelmail.po > for v1.4.1. Thanks for your contribution. 1. msgfmt -v -c -o /dev/null squirrelmail.po squirrelmail.po:1375: format specifications for argument 0 are not the same squirrelmail.po:2712: number of format specifications in `msgid' and `msgstr' does not match found 2 fatal errors can you fix your translation? http://www.topolis.lt/squirrelmail/status/errors.html line 1375 has program error. you need to remove "#, c-format" tag. line 2712 has translation error. %d variable indicates identity number. Full string that you see in SquirrelMail looks like "Alternate Identity <some number>". Options -> Personal Info -> Edit Special IDs 2. msgfmt --statistics squirrelmail.po -o /dev/null 809 translated messages, 93 fuzzy translations, 14 untranslated messages. 809+93+14=916 strings SquirrelMail v.1.4.1 has 1007 strings. Before you start translating, you need to update your strings. Go to squirrelmail's po directory and run './mergepo cs_CZ' without quotes. fuzzy mark means that msgmerge program thought that it had found correct translation but it was not sure. You need to check them, correct them and remove fuzzy marks. 3. "PO-Revision-Date: 2001-05-09 18:45:00+0200\n" Your clock shows incorrect date. It would be better if you update this field in squirrelmail.po header. It allows to track when translation was updated. KBabel on Unix updates it automatically. Emacs updates it when you validate file. Not sure if PoEdit (http://poedit.sf.net) updates this header. Also you may consider updating Czech translation in 1.4.2cvs and not in 1.4.1. some strings were changed. -- Tomas Kuliavas |
