Hi! I'm setting up a squirrel mail server on Ubuntu Jaunty (9,04) and I was trying to install the change_passwd plugin so that users could change their passwords. The installation process went good until I put the plugin to work. On the squirrelmail window I receive an error message, I enabled the debugging features to see what went wrong and it printed that I should try a command in console. I tried the command: chpasswd 'user' 'oldpasswd' 'newpasswd' 2>&1 and the systems gives me the following message: chpasswd: can't lock password file I followed the instructions in the INSTALL file of the plugin and changed the owner of the chpasswd file to root:www-data (that's the apache gid under ubuntu) and the privileges to 4750, but still don't get it to work. What could be the problem?
