It'd allow you to not run an additional service (httpd) on the server, but then you have the plain text authentication sent between the webservers and the IMAP server (that is not including between client and webserver). There is currently code in devel branch that'll allow you to use certain functions (from the mcrypt library) to do some encryption for authentication (MD5 type stuff). -- Jonathan Angliss (ja...@ce...) |
