[SM-PLUGINS] Email Footer not working on Redhat 9

I've got Squirrelmail installed ( from the
squirrelmail-1.4.1-2.noarch.rpm ) on a Redhat 9 machine.  I untared the
email_footer plugin and added it through conf.pl but it doesn't add a
footer to mail sent through SM.  Does anyone have the Email Footer
plugin working on Redhat 9 ??
