Hi -- I have had no problem with the stable or snapshot versions connecting to a default-installed IMAP on Slackware Linux 7.1, but am having a heck of time with OpenBSD 3.0 and its UW and Courier packages. UW wouldn't even let me login, so I gave up on that one and went onto Courier IMAP. The left panel hangs and then gives the '30 second exceeded' message on any attempt. (And no, I don't need to increase the 30 seconds in php.ini, this is with NO mail in the mailboxes...it should come up in less than a second.) The "~user/Maildir" directory is not created automatically on first connect to IMAP port 143, so I had to add it. Once I did that, the first connect to IMAP results in the ~user/Maildir/.Sent and ~user/Maildir/.Trash directories and their respective subfolders/files being created. The '30 second exceeded' seems to happen on line 69 of the latest imap_general.php file. Any idea on what's going on? I am thinking it's a Courier problem but searching list archives and google has been fruitless. Thanks! -- Justin |
