I think a good feature and one easy to code would be
the option to compress the INBOX and other folders. I
use Squirrelmail and keep alot of mail. This takes up
huge amounts of space and compressing and
uncompressing these folders on the fly would really
help.

    This is a neat idea. However, it is way outside of the
    scope of Squirrelmail. Squirrelmail is just a mail client.
    Such functionality would have to be implemented in the mail
    servers behind Squirrelmail itself.
