The date sorting in squirrelmail is incorrect. It
places e-mails from January 2005 before any e-mails
from 2004 and then places all other 2005 e-mails after
the rest of the 2004 e-mails.

For example, the first 5 e-mails in my search results
for e-mails from a certin sender are from Jan. 2005.
The next block of e-mails in my search results is from
Dec. 13th, 2004 through Feb. 19th, 2004. The next
e-mail is dated Feb 16th, 2005. So, there is a
haphazard date sorting going on for such old e-mails.

An example:
order #, date
1, 2005
2, 2005
3, 2005
4, 2004
5, 2004
6, 2004
7, 2005
8, 2005
