Hi, I have Squirrel SQL installed on Windows XP Professional using JDK1.5.2_04 with Oracle JDBC thin driver for Oracle 9i. Everything works great, however, I am unable to see Japanese characters in the Objects->Table view. Also, when I paste Japanese characters to SQL window as part of SQL, it appears as square chars. Surprisingly, it works fine on my colleague's computer. Warmest Regards, JT |

Try this: 1. place a copy of arialuni.ttf in the jre home lib/fonts directory 2. shutdown SQuirreL SQL Client if it is running and restart it 3. open the Global Preferences window and click the fonts tab 4. enable Other fonts and choose Arial Unicode MS, 12 for the font Nathan Jit...@sp... wrote: > Hi, > > I have Squirrel SQL installed on Windows XP Professional using JDK1.5.2_04 > with Oracle JDBC thin driver for Oracle 9i.
