Since there are still at least a few of us using older versions of Windows
to run squirrel, we keep running into the 2047-char command line limitation
when constructing TMP_CP. In an attempt to ameliorate all the failed
launches and one-off hacks, I’m proposing this patch that uses 8.3
filenames when they’re available. It makes a significant difference e.g.
when squirrel is installed under “/program files/squirrel-sql-M.N.x”. The
patch is a normal diff with the squirrel-sql.bat distributed with v3.3.0.
It has been lightly tested on win2k and win7 (for forward compatibility),
so I welcome reviews, comments, etc.
