Hi Caspar, I've just tried using the ODBC MySQL driver and it works although it has issues with the metadata. I'm using MySQL 3.23.47 with the 2.50.39 ODBC driver on Windows NT, Sun JDK 1.4.0 and Sun JDK 1.3.1. Could you paste the full stack trace from the exception into an email and send it to the developers list and I'll try to work out whats happening. The problem is when I try to connect to the mysql db using the bridge, I get a nullpointer exception (shown in the log). SQuirreL suggests that I change my URL, but to my best knowledge my URL is correct; it is "jdbc:odbc:mysqltest" where mysqltest is the data source name as listed in ~/.odbc.ini. The Mysql odbc driver seems to work, I can get a connection using the odbctest program in the unixODBC package.
