Hi Krishna. You have to change the Statement Separator to something else temporarily - by convention "GO" as in SQL Server - in Session / Session Properties / SQL. You will find that your code then works fine. If you were going to have other statements in your script, you would need "GO" between them. Subject: [Squirrel-sql-users] Editing stored procedures in Informix Using version: 2.5 Am unable to create stored procedures in Informix using Squirrel SQL. Am able to create procedures in SQL Server, though. What is it that I am doing wrong? Is creation of stored procedure on Informix not supported by Squirrel? The following (which is a valid Informix stored procedure) fails with an exception: create procedure abcd() define i int; end procedure; Exception: Error: java.sql.SQLException: A syntax error has occurred., SQL State: 42000, Error Code: -201 Error occured in: create procedure abcd() define i int Thanks for the pointers.
