I connect to a lot of different database aliases, approx 40 currently. I would really like to be able to group them. Create a tree view that allows users to create 'folders' to group the aliases in a logical way. So I can minimize the tree, for aliases I'm not interested in at the moment, or more easily know what customer several databases belong to.
It only needs to be two levels deep.
Here's an example of what I'm meaning.

+ Access
- Customer_Abc
Db23
Db25
- Customer_Def
Db53
Db55
+ Customer_fer
+ Customer_ged
+ Customer_sad
- Project
Db41
Db34
Db12
Db45
Db2
Db23

This feature is currently implemented in the latest snapshot. We are looking for testers. If you want to use it, you probably should backup your ~/.squirrel-sql directory. That said, I've been using it in development for a while now and it's pretty stable from what I've seen.

Thank you. I've installed the snapshot-20081004_1833, and will be using it for my daily use. I've already grouped my aliases together.
    It is working great.
