Work at SourceForge, help us to make it a better place! We have an immediate need for a Support Technician in our San Francisco or Denver office.
I'd like to be able to install SQuirreL into Eclipse,
preferably as an Eclipse Plug-in.

That's going to be challenging as SQuirreL is pure Swing and
Eclipse uses SWT. Also, not sure how SQuirreL's MDI
approach is compatible with the Eclipse approach. This idea
has some merit, but the technical problems are too large for
the current development team to address at this point. Not
saying that it can't/shouldn't be done, just not a priority
for us right now. If you would like to take on the
development required, we would be glad to answer questions
on the dev mailing list.

You can try Sqlexplorer, SQuirreL-SQL 1.2 based
Since this is already maintained by a separate project (See
Ivo's link), it seems there is no need for us to look at
this right now.
