#96 Problem retrieving result set for Sybase 12.5

Everytime when i try to submit a custom SQL using SQl
tab, it stays at "Building output..." prompt and never
goes anywhere? any help is appreciated.

    There is a known problem with some versions of
    Sybase/JConnect where setMaxRows will lock up the JDBC
    connection. Theres some info here

    Either change your version of jConnect (4.5 seems to work
    better than 5.5) or uncheck the "Contents - limit rows" and
    "SQL - Limit rows" check boxes in the SQL tab on the New
    Session Properties dialog.

    I'm having the same problems.
    Just a suggestion, why dont you just loop the the RS 100
    times for Sybase istead of using setMaxRows ?

    Shouldnt there be a way of setting this per alias? When I
    use Sybase I do not want to limit the row numbers (if I do I
    am limited to one query before I freeze on the second one),.
    On the other hand when I open DB2 I would like to have the
    rows limited by default
