Sometimes the Dialog Boxes are to large to view
without some form of resizing involved. Could you
make it so that these dialog boxes take into
consideration the current viewable area?
In general this is not too easy. We don't have definitions
of sizes that SQuirreL can work with. It definitely won't on
14 inch screens. The dialogs where this problem can occur
are Session-Properties and Global-Preferences. These dialogs
can be resized and SQuirreL restores the size when opened
next time. If this is not good enough for you please feel
free to contact me (gerdwagner@users.sourceforge.net).
Perhaps we can find a solution for your special problem.
I'm closing this bug.

Gerd and I discussed this via email. Since some of the
panels in the global settings sheet aren't scrollable, it
makes the content unreadable when the dialog is resized
smaller than opened after SQuirreL is restarted. It would
be optimal to do what the original report suggested.
However, at the very least, we should make panels scrollable.
Perhaps, we could avoid the complexities of size calculation
and simply make the dialog be a real dialog instead of a
JInternalFrame.

Added scollbars to the Global Preferences dialog. Left it as
a JInternalFrame for now. Fixed in CVS and will be available
in the next snapshot / release.
