I installed Squirrret-sql-1.2beta6-install on two laptops of
Comaq, similar configuration.

On one its working and the other if just runs the batch file
and nothing actually comes up.

What are things I need to take care of for installation of
SquirrelSQL on Windos XP OS.

Regards
Vivek

Be sure to set the JAVA_HOME environment varible to a real
path to a jdk/jre on your hard-drive. If this environment
variable isn't set, make sure that "java.exe" is in your
path. And when you upgrade your jdk/jre and remove the old
one, make sure to update the PATH and/or JAVA_HOME
    environment variables.

Another thing you should do - to see if this environment
variable setting is the problem - is open a command window,
cd to the directory where squirrel-sql.bat is located and
run it from the command line. If you're still having
trouble running it, then post a follow-up with the actual
error message that appears in the command window,
