When I install beta4 on a Windows XP machine it can
create a shortcut on the desktop. This icon looks
weird though (see attached file). So I thought that I'd
fix it, but Windows Paint says that the file is invalid.

I've finally got access to an XP PC so I can now test this.
With the latest version (1.2beta6) I don't have this
problem, the icon file looks correct.

Paint doesn't seem to be able to open any .ico file, I get
the same msg trying to open any .ico file.

It might be a colour depth issue. The minimum colour depth I
can run with my video card seems to be 16bit so I can't see
if a lower bit depth causes problems.

I'll find a tool to open the file and see what colour depth
    its expecting.

I've updated CVS with the new icon. Once 1.2beta7 is
released (approx 1-2 weeks) could you please test just in
case its something to do with the upload to CVS thats
    corrupting it.
