Hi, I've installed today squirrel-sql-snapshot-20140709_2314-standard.jar as well as squirrel-sql-snapshot-20140725_2200-standard.jar on RHEL 6.5 using
"$ sudo java -jar 'squirrel-sql-snapshot-201407xx_xxxx-standard.jar'"
When I tried to start Squirrel it ended all times with an error stating that mysql could not be loaded (as I didn't select it because I don't need it - see squirrel-installation.sh as reference ).
Finally I installed Squirrel again and added MySQL (even if not needed) and was able to start and use Squirrel as expected.

kind regards

Georg
