I am already using squirrel-sql 3.4.0 successfully on some mysql and oracle databases.
However, there is one special mysql database, that causes squirrel-sql to hang if the catalog is switched to it.
Is there a way to run squirrel-sql with verbose debug logging in order to see, where it hangs?
I can reproduce the problem like that:
export CLASSPATH='/usr/share/squirrel-sql/squirrel-sql.jar:/usr/share/squirrel-sql/lib/*:/usr/share/java/*' java -Xmx512m -splash:icons/splash.jpg net.sourceforge.squirrel_sql.client.Main --log-config-file /usr/share/squirrel-sql/log4j.properties --squirrel-home /usr/share/squirrel-sql --no-plugins # connect to the mysql-host as user xyz # switch to that certain catalog using the Catalog select box
-> squirrel-sql hangs with the progress bar stuck at "loading stored procedures"
(Switching to all other catalogs works fine.)
I am using java-1.6.0-openjdk on Fedora 14.
