I am creating an squashfs for an embedded device: an Ubiquity Nanostation 2 Loco. My problem is the device needs a big-endian filesystem, and recent versions of mksquashfs does not have the "-be" option included in older versions.

I want to use a newer version because the image generated with gzip compression is larger than the memory and I want to try with lzma.

    How do I create a big-endian squashfs?
