I use to save into file, package or view. but when i press
F5 to run a new version, the '*' on the title bar from sql
tools disappear, but i not save the file. :-[
is it possible to have two symbols on the title, one for "
not compiled or run" and another for "not save"
This logic supported my "change on database" workflow.
You load pl/sql code, change and compile. If it's
compiled, it's saved. Usually I load all sources in the next
step and put in a version control system.
Right now I can add an option, which will disable
reset "modified" status on "compile" F5. Maybe later I'll
add the separate flag for compilation.
i prefer save my source on disk to have 2 kind of
backup : first db backup, second file backup
I'll think about this thing. I cannot say when, but if I
find a simple and convenient form, I'll do it.
