Which test are we talking about again...? If the class wasn't set up,
then no connection would be set, and so you'd get this error about there
being no connection.
It's possible something else is happening as well, but I can't tell from
the traceback. I'd actually like to clean up the test framework, mostly
deleting what's there and using ConnectionHub to simplify it; that
doesn't explain any problem, but it might inadvertedly fix something.
