for best performance it's good practice to use bind vars for sql
statements. in this case the database can optimize the accesses and
build query plans and the like.
sqlobject does string concatenation the whole statement including the
data. this prevents the obove mentioned performance optimization plans
of the databasebecause each statement differs. also memory
fragmentation is worse using concatenation of lots of small strings.
are there any efforts to optimize sqlobject in this matter?
