Version 2.0 beta 1 released

After a long hiatus, we have a new release of SQLite Database Browser, 2.0 beta 1. This is the first public version based on Qt 4.6, and incorporates several bug fixes and enhancements, as well as support for defining the format of data (UTF8 or Latin). It was also updated to use SQLite 3.6.18. Please try it and let us know of any problems you might find.

Migration to SVN

To project developers: source code was migrated today to SVN, in preparation for a new binary released based on recent versions of SQLite and Qt4. The CVS server should no longer be used.

Version 1.3

The internal SQLite sources have been updated to version 3.3.5. Please consult the release notes, as databases created with 3.3.x can not be opened by tools and applications compiled with earlier versions of SQLite 3.x.

1.2.1 released

Please read the change notes as there are changes in the internal UTF storage formats, and data conversion might be necessary from 1.2. This version should preserve international characters across different platforms and processor architectures correctly

Version 1.2 available with support for SQLite 3.x databases

Version 1.2 was released. Jens Miltner contributed the code to support the SQLite 3.x database format in this version. SQLite Database Browser now embeds version 3.2.1 of the SQLite engine. Pre-built binaries are available for Linux, Windows and OSX.

OSX 10.3 (Panther) binary uploaded

We have added a precompiled static binary for users of MacOSX 10.3 (Panther). This was built with version 3.23 of Qt, the first one to support Panther officially.
