Something like this should do it: data:image/jpeg;base64,ajkguiaruityuiadryar78ty9dru8y replacing the part where I mashed my keyboard with your base64-encoded image data. This will work in recent versions of Mozilla, Opera and I think in IE, but some older browsers including IE 5.0 don't support it. Also some browsers may have a limit on the length of URLs. So this may not be suitable depending on the size of your images and on your browser support requirements. The format of these URIs is defined by RFC 2397: http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2397.html Andy |
