It is quite boring to be recalled at each start up to update the add ins.

I just want to find an option to avoid the check for update at each startup of excel.

Apologies. My plan is to have it check once a week or so. You can rename 'C:\Program Files\Spreadsheet Compare\Update Program.exe' to something different (Update Program blah.exe) and it will disable the check. Just run the program when you want to check for updates.
