Hi,=20 As i thought, these new printers don't support the current developed=20 compression algorithm (17) neither the other compression algorithm used for= =20 text document (18) (not implemented) but a new compression algorithm (19). It seems that this new algorithm is the JBIG algorithm (used in most of fax= =20 for instance). Unfortunately the sent data seem very very different from th= e=20 JBIG equivalent.. =46or now, the CLP-300 is definitly not usable with SpliX. You have to wait i disassemble the proprietary samsung printer and read it.= =2E=20 It's a quite long process. The only good news is that the new samsung driver has been compiled in bett= er=20 way, uses known CUPS libraries and is quite small (60Ko) (To write SpliX, i= =20 had to work on the first SPL2 filter which was more than 450Ko.. millions o= f=20 assembler instructions... :o) I hope i will have good news soon..
