The 26th May and 8th June 2006 releases contain prebuilt binaries and as such may have trouble compiling on other systems. The 12th June 2006 release fixes this. You can also work around the problem for yourself by running "make clean" in the speedtouch-1.3.1-sgp directory - that is:
$ cd speedtouch-1.3.1-sgp
$ make clean
$ cd ..
$ ./speedtouchconf.sh
FC2, Mandrake 10, SuSE 9.1, etc reported working with 19 June 2004 release.
To avoid errors on reboot, try setting "LOAD_USBCORE=0" in /etc/speedtouch.conf pending a further update.
No major changes over the 20 Jan release, but does some extra checks - for the /etc/init.d vs /etc/rc.d/init.d directory, and for any active kernel mode drivers (this is the user mode driver)
The 07 Dec 2002 release fixes a bug in the 05 Dec release. The 05 Dec 2002 release has been hidden because of thisbug.
