i recently found this on Blendswap:
if used without subdivision i think it's lowpoly enough to go into SD.
Just asking if someone is going to or is already converting it,
or if i should try it.
my 2pence on accc:
i don't know if it is any help on the subject but for me accc crashes
when a mesh-file contains one or more objects which have just 1 quad
that is triangulated and the vertices are welded. After unwelding the vertices on said object(s) accc works normal.
Another thing that looks odd is that polys with "refs 2" (actually lines)
are kept by doublicating a vertex (thus actually creating an illegal
triangle) instead of being removed.
Lastly i want to ask once again if somebody on the team could fix
the SD-Forum-issue with accessing topics and posting, because the
last login by the admin was on May 6th, so i'm not sure my last post
regarding this has been read.
