Of course you can commit your new graphics engine as a new module under modules/graphics (something like osggraph ?). When doind so, could you then please update the INSTALL file for the OSG dependendy ? Then I'll update the 3rdParty libs to add the necessary OSG API. We also probably need a new combo box in the graphic options menu to select the graphics engine, as well as the new entry in some XML file (IIRC, there's already one for this actually), and of course the few lines of code in the raceengine to load the right graphics engine.
