installing it. Mono is not commonly installed and there proberbly are quite
some people who don't want to install it. That makes the assumption that Mono
is available far more controversion then the assumption that python is
Mono is installed by default with Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora and Suse, and possibly others, so I would describe that as common.
