No

Now that we use LXDE as the default desktop environment, we can drop the theme lock and use lxde-settings-daemon for setting themes. Removing the GTK2_RC_FILES variable and setting the default values for skeleton users in LXDE would be needed.

    It's not the problem source. I've been working with the issue for a while and the Lxappearance change the .gtkrc-2.0 file, but it does not want to change the most important file .home/config/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf. Manually changing a theme name in this file takes resuls only.

    • Milestone: 3.2 --> 3.4

  • Moving to 3.4. What's the progress on this one? Can I close it?

  • Theme lock removed and LXAppearence problems fixed upstream (Debian or LXDE).
